The Human Resources Manager plans, administers, and oversees all human resources functions, across all Digital United LLC’s agencies, including employee engagement, employee relations, employee development, talent acquisition, benefits, compensation, onboarding / offboarding, and compliance. Responsible for developing HR plans, managing HR operations, analyzing HR metrics, and overseeing HR programs, this role collaborates closely with senior leadership to implement HR strategies designed to drive company culture and support the achievement of overall company objectives.

Responsibilities:
  • Automation / Reporting: Partner with internal subject matter experts to automate manual HR tasks and provide data and reporting through Digital United’s OpenBook proprietary solution and other HRIS tools.
  • Manage HR Operations: Oversee recruitment, selection, orientation, training, coaching, and counseling of staff. Manage employment relations, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Analyze HR Metrics: Track and analyze HR metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of HR initiatives. Utilize data-driven insights for informed decision-making.
  • Administer HR Programs: Manage various HR programs including compensation, career pathing, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, and office safety.
  • Develop HR Plans: Craft corporate HR plans and collaborate with senior management to ensure alignment with company strategy and culture objectives.
  • Partner with Leadership: Collaborate with leadership to develop Total Rewards/Pay philosophy, review compensation and benefits market data, and monitor pay practices.
  • Manage Compliance: Monitor and ensure the organization’s compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Ongoing Professional Development: Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and innovative technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; apply knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to leadership.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification is highly desirable.
  • Agency experience is a plus
  • Strong track record of successfully automating manual HR tasks, and experience in system selection and implementation.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a management role.
  • Deep understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Proven history of implementing HR best practices and driving organizational culture.
