As Digital United’s Senior Marketing Specialist, you’ll be responsible for B2B go-to-market alignment and hands-on execution across multiple entities on multiple channels — driving demand, improving visibility, and optimizing day-to-day marketing operations that fuel growth.
The job is 20% strategy and 80% making things happen: launching campaigns, optimizing web performance, tightening our lead gen engine, and keeping all marketing activities running smoothly. On the strategy side, you’ll brainstorm and advise senior leaders on best practices and prioritizations based on data.  
This is a part-time role with flexible hours.  If desired, the role can flex to full time during the upfront phase to establish the frameworks and processes with the possibly to convert to a staff employee.

Reports To: CEO, Digital United

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • DEMAND GENERATION
    • Own the day-to-day execution of B2B marketing initiatives across Digital United and its entities (Primacy, ZenSource, Mediate.ly).
    • Manage content updates, campaign launches, and ongoing optimizations with urgency and precision.
    • Build and maintain marketing calendars, workflows, and processes to improve operational efficiency.
    • Coordinate cross-functional inputs (sales, operations, product) to keep marketing deliverables on track.
    • Work with senior leaders on marketing got-to-market strategy evolution based on data and market insights.
    • Partner with internal sales, industry and solution Subject Matter Experts (SMEs.)
    • Support campaign creation, gated content landing page and DRIP campaign optimization.
    • Optimize sales funnel — from awareness to conversion — using data to drive continuous improvement.
    • Manage Salesforce marketing automation tasks to support list building, segmentation, and nurture flows.
  • CONTENT & COMMUNICATIONS
    • Work with SMEs to publish marketing content including blogs, newsletters, email campaigns, case studies, and social posts.
    • Create best practice templates around positioning, solutioning and differentiation proof points.
    • Ensure messaging remain on brand.
    • Provide quarterly updates on direct competitors.
    • Tap internal SMES for any support including Creative, Developers and other experts.
  • ANALYTICS & REPORTING
    • Track performance across SEO, web analytics, email platforms, CRM, and social.
    • Build dashboards and reports.
    • Support alignment across DU entities, ensuring campaigns and updates flow smoothly across Primacy, ZenSource, and Mediate.ly.
    • Serve as a reliable connector between teams to maintain velocity and avoid bottlenecks.


WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED:

  1. 5–10 years of hands-on B2B demand generating marketing experience, in a fast-paced multi-brand environment.
  2. Best practices across the sales funnel from awareness to lead nurturing.
  3. Ability to advise shifts in strategic direction and priorities.
  4. Strong execution chops — you prioritize, move quickly, and deliver with consistency.
  5. Salesforce administrator skills to customize dashboards.
  6. Comfortable working across channels: web, LinkedIn and other social media channels.
  7. Strong writing with the ability to turn ideas into clear, usable content.
  8. Proficiency with marketing tools including AI, Google Analytics, CRM platforms and email.
  9. A self-starter mindset; you run with the ball and make it happen.

COMPENSATION:
We offer a competitive salary based on experience and qualifications. The compensation range for this position is $50-$75 an hour.  
 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: 

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. 
  • Occasional standing, walking, or lifting of office supplies (up to 10–20 lbs.) 
  • Frequent communication via phone, email, and video conferencing. 
  • Work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment with standard lighting and noise levels. Position may require occasional travel to client site.
